Cape Town: Creative Inspiration for The World

The past few weeks have been quite exciting for Cape Town for the media, design and tourism industries.
First, Cape Town won the bid to be named World Design Capital for 2014. The title recognizes Cape Town's dedication to using design and creativity for social, cultural and economic development. In 2014 a year-long programme of design-led events and activities will enable Cape Town to showcase its achievements and aspirations through its diversity and design.
 Secondly, Cape Town's Table Mountain was voted one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature. The iconic landmark that watches over our "mother city" has finally been given the recognition it deserves. Already a popular tourist attraction, the new status is expected to attract 108,000 new visitors annually and to create 11,000 new jobs.
With all the design inspiration that surrounds us, it's no wonder businesses from across South Africa and all over the world look to graphic and web designers in Cape Town to create their dream websites.
